In a burst of celestial fireworks on June 21st, 1983, Zach Monroe's life was set ablaze with an unyielding passion that would guide him through the tempests of fate. Born under the radiant sun of summer solstice, he embarked upon a journey that would defy the odds and rewrite the script of his destiny. As a young buck, Zach found himself navigating the choppy waters of learning disabilities, but his indomitable spirit refused to be tamed. He discovered an affinity for hands-on tinkering, breathing new life into discarded electronics and computers. The Commodore 128 became his trusty steed, as he galloped through the digital realm, exploring programming languages, playing games, and connecting with the online community like PAN and Cleveland freenet.
As the seasons passed, Zach's fascination with technology only intensified. He scavenged for old computer equipment, scoring a Compaq 286 from an older neighbor who was eager to rid himself of the pesky youngster. This humble machine became the catalyst for his first "job" – crafting a sailing/nautical glossary for John Oman's Northwest Spirit sailing boat and Goals.com. His efforts earned him a Pentium 90, once a server for the goals.com website, and solidified his status as a burgeoning tech whiz. However, as Zach entered his teenage years, the allure of computers began to wane, replaced by an insatiable passion for all things automotive. He immersed himself in the world of mechanics, teaching himself everything he needed to know to build a 20-year career in the Automotive Supply chain. His journey culminated in a position with a local municipality, where he honed his skills and earned the respect of his peers.
Personal triumphs accompanied professional successes as Zach married Angelica, fathering two children, Jayden (2010) and Kaylee (2015). Though their relationship ultimately came to an end, Zach's love for his ex-wife has endured, with a yearly anniversary gift serving as a testament to the enduring power of their bond. In 2017, Zach returned to academia, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Information Technology. His academic endeavors were crowned with success in 2021, as he graduated with honors. The Covid-19 lockdowns proved a catalyst for Zach's rekindled passion for computers. He delved into the world of home networking, AI servers, Raspberry PI, KALI Linux, and 3D printing, Drones, and more, his creative energies revitalized.
As he restores his 1994 Mercedes SL500, Zach has encountered the frustrating reality of searching for discontinued trim components at exorbitant prices. This problem-solving impetus has birthed a project – a library of hard-to-find or discontinued parts for vintage cars. made available for 3d printing. This innovative concept is just one manifestation of Zach's boundless creativity, which also finds expression in his lifelong loves of photography and painting. Welcome to this digital sanctuary, where the brushstrokes of imagination will soon be replaced by the strokes of reality.
